Wojciech Bańbuła is a Polish physical preparation coach renowned for his contributions to volleyball. He currently serves as the physical preparation coach for the Polish Men's National Volleyball Team, a role he has held since 2025.
In addition to his national team duties, Bańbuła has been a key figure at Trefl Gdańsk, a prominent volleyball club in Poland, since the 2018/2019 season, contributing significantly to the club’s success in the PlusLiga, Poland's top volleyball league.
Beyond coaching, Bańbuła is the founder of Volleyball Performance, an organization dedicated to enhancing volleyball performance through specialized training and resources. His expertise and dedication are widely recognized, leading to his appointment to the national team staff by head coach Nikola Grbić.
Mark Lebedew is an Australian-born volleyball coach who has worked in professional volleyball for over 25 years. Throughout his career, he has coached several national teams, notably achieving a world ranking of 11 as Head Coach of Australia.
In club volleyball, Mark has worked extensively throughout Europe, notably winning multiple championships in Germany and securing bronze medals in the PlusLiga and CEV Champions League. Known for his ability to bring out the best in teams and surpass expectations, Mark is also recognized internationally as a thinker, writer, and educator on volleyball, sharing his insights through his website, marklebedew.com, and frequently speaking at conferences and seminars around the world.
Przemysław Gaszyński is a strength and conditioning coach with extensive volleyball experience. He holds a degree in Physical Education from the University School of Physical Education in Kraków and completed postgraduate studies in Strength and Conditioning in Team Sports at the University School of Physical Education in Katowice.
Przemysław is an accredited Level 2 Strength and Conditioning Coach by the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) and holds a Professional Diploma in Strength and Conditioning for Football from the Barça Innovation Hub. He also completed the "Load Management – Train Smarter and Harder" online course with Gabbett Performance Solutions, among other respected certifications.
His professional roles include strength and conditioning coaching positions with Norwid Częstochowa (PlusLiga, Men's Volleyball), the Henan Province Youth Team in China, the Indian Men's National Volleyball Team, Trefl Proxima Kraków (Tauron Liga, Women's Volleyball), and Hutnik Kraków (1st Men's Volleyball League). Additionally, Przemysław has worked with SKILLS4ATHLETES, providing tailored training for athletes across various sports and skill levels.
Przemysław's expertise includes load management and skill acquisition, employing Complex Systems Theory and Ecological Psychology to analyze athlete development, skill evolution, and adaptability within various game contexts.
Łukasz Filipecki is a graduate of AWF Katowice’s Physiotherapy department and completed postgraduate studies as a Physical Preparation Coach at the same academy.
Łukasz is an accredited Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach by the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) and an EXOS Performance Specialist.
With over 14 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach in professional volleyball, Łukasz has worked with notable teams, including Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, achieving Polish vice-championship status in the PlusLiga, and Chemik Police, securing four Polish championships in the Tauron Liga.
During his tenure with Turkish club Eczacibasi Istanbul, he earned two Turkish vice-championships and was runner-up in the Champions League in 2023. That same year, he won the Club World Championship with the team. Łukasz also contributed to the Czech Women's National Team’s promotion to the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) in 2024.
Additionally, Łukasz founded and organizes annual meetings of strength and conditioning coaches working in professional volleyball across Poland.
David Gil has an extensive background in exercise science, physiology, and communications. His passion for applied anatomy and biomechanics has driven him to lead research and development at VERT Sports, a pioneer in IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) performance monitoring technology. David consults for companies across sports performance, military, and rehabilitation sectors and manages data analysis for VERT’s extensive client base, including over 500 national, professional, and elite collegiate programs.
Beyond product development, David oversees biomechanical and video analysis for VERT’s premier programs, ensuring optimal performance and reduced injury risks. Leveraging IMU technology, he designs and implements assessments adopted by elite programs to provide actionable insights into athlete performance and identify inefficient movement patterns.
David regularly travels across the United States, sharing his innovative approaches through coaching clinics. His methodologies emphasize precise vertical and horizontal movement mechanics, enabling athletes to make immediate, lasting performance and health improvements.
Prior to joining VERT, David owned a fitness facility specializing in Olympic lifting, mobility, movement mechanics, and physiotherapy. His primary focus remains helping athletes enjoy longevity in their sport by teaching proper movement and healthy habits from an early age. With elite clients, David emphasizes tailored load management strategies to minimize overuse injuries and optimize performance.
